Pumpkin Patch

We took Karisse and Callie to the pumpkin patch tonight to pick out pumpkins. Callie didn't really care what she got so Karisse picked hers out for her. They each got a little pumpkin and then they got one big pumpkin to share.

On the way home we stopped and bought the face you stick in the pumpkin like a Mr. Potatohead. Karisse hates to be dirty, so we figured she would not like getting the guts out of the pumpkin. After dinner Mommy and Karisse made the Jack-o-lantern while Callie and I supervised. Karisse got rather "creative" in her placement of the facial features. I think it would definitely qualify as abstract art.

Crazy Hair

We have some crazy haired kids in this family. Check out Callie's hair do in these pictures.

Callie is getting SOOOO big and is becoming very expressive. Here is a video of Christy singing to her and Callie "talking" back to her and grinning. She has the sweetest little toothless grin!

The Little Chef

Karisse loves to cook. Tuesday when we got home from work and Grandma and Grandpa's she went into her playroom. I could hear her saying, "I'm fixing dinner" and she would talk about the different things she was fixing. Then she said need set the table. A few minutes later she told me dinner was ready and to come and eat. She is soo funny and sooo OCD. Love her, but she gets it honest.

Dancing Princess

Karisse loves to dance and sing. Here is a video of her dancing to a song that I got at an inservice I went to this summer. It is called Monkeys in Motion!

Addyson Renea Thomas has arrived!

We are very excited to announce the birth of our newest niece. Christy's sister, Melissa, gave birth to Addyson Renea Tuesday night at 11:39 pm. She is a cutie! They live in Mississippi, so we have not gotten to see her in person, but we love her already.

Eliza Mae Booth has Arrived!

Our dear friends Teddy and Kristen Booth welcomed their daughter Eliza Mae into the world today. She is beautiful. She and Callie have already been informed that they are going to be best friends. We love this kid already!
