Play Doh

Karisse got Play Doh from Santa, but she had not liked it too much until tonight. We got it out tonight and she had a great time playing with it and pretending to eat it. Christy had a great time with it too. In fact I think Chirsty might have liked it even more than Karisse.

We have a fence

We finally have the privacy fence we have been wanting since we moved in to this house. They put it up pretty quick. However not quite as quick as they said they would. We are keeping the dog lot we already had. That way we keep the poop contained. Now the kids can run around in the back yard without fear of them getting around front into the road. Also, we can let the dogs out of the pen to run wild. We let them out tonight and they ran nonstop for a good 5 minutes. We told Karisse they were excited, so she just kept watching them and saying cited.
It is a lot of fence. 445 feet to be exact. I am sooooo glad I decided to hire it done and not do it ourselves. It looks great!

Baby update

We had our 20 week ultrasound visit today and the Dr. said everything looks great! and we are having another girl. So Karisse is getting a baby sister. Her first name will be Callie, but we have not decided for sure on a middle name yet. I will try to scan and upload one of the ultrasound pictures later. It is official; I am going to continue to be totally out numbered. But I love my girls!!!

Easter

We had a great, but very busy Easter. We went to church for breakfast and then had the usual 3 services. Then we went to Christy's Grandma's for lunch. The Easter Bunny delivered Karisse's Easter Basket to Granny's since it was so early when we went to church. She also got to have an Easter egg hunt with her cousins. After all of that we went to Christy's Mamaw and Papaw's for a short visit and of course a little dinner.

Karisse's First Movie in the Theater

We took Karisse to her first movie in the movie theater yesterday. We went and saw the new movie Horton Hears a Who. She loved it and she did really well. She kept saying "Hoton", but she watched most of the movie and ate lots of popcorn. It was a really good movie and we highly recommend it.

Thursday Small Group Night

Thursday was small group night as usual. However, instead of the usual we had a guys night out and a girls night out simultaneously. We all got baby sitters and the guys went out to eat and the girls got take out and took it to Teddy and Kristen's house. A good time was had by all.

Crystal's mom Tammy (Finley's Nana) was in town and volunteered to watch both Finley and Karisse. I think they all had a great time too. Karisse and Finley love to spend time together. When Tammy put Karisse's jammies on she remembered seeing some like them in Finley's jammies, so the girls got to wear their matching jammies. They looked sooooo stinking cute in their matching jammies. I could just eat them up they are so cute.

Cool Chick!!

Karisse thinks she is a cool chick! She loves to wear her sun glasses in the car. She says "bite-gases" (aka: bright - glasses). She is the cutest thing in her cool yellow shades.

Lazy Saturdays!!!!!!

I love lazy Saturdays at home with my girls!! I must be the luckiest guy in the world to have such an awesome wife and adorable daughter. It is hard to imagine how it can get any better than this yet it seems to get better all the time. And since kiddo #2 (we call him/her pumpkin for now) is on the way I can not wait to see it get better with 2 kiddos each with a little of me and a little of their amazing Mommy.

Goober

My daughter is such a Goober Head!

Yay for Fridays and Friends

We went to our friends Andrew, Crystal and Finley's for dinner tonight. Our friend Angie was also there. We had a great time and great food. We always have a great time with our friends and Karisse loves playing with Finley. When we pulled in to the parking lot of their apartment Karisse said "Ninney's house." Thanks friends for a fun evening.

Finley and Karisse love each other, but they have not quite learned the art of sharing. Karisse loves computers and Finley has a toy computer. They spent a lot of the evening "fighting" over it and most of the other toys. They also took a bath together. They both love baths.

Baby update

We had an appointment with the OB today. It took a while to find the heartbeat, but they just were not looking in the right place. It sounded good and strong. The Dr. Said everything looks good. We were hoping to have an ultrasound so we could know if Pumpkin is a boy or a girl, but no such luck. After the appointment we went home and Karisse took a nap and Christy went to work. After Karisse woke up from her nap she and I went shoe shopping. We both needed new tennis shoes. Karisse has been growing like crazy and her clothes and shows are getting too small. It is really hard to find little girls' shoes that do not have cheesy characters on them that are not expensive. We finally found some pink Converse high tops at JCPenny. Karisse called them boots. I finally convinced her they were shoes and now she calls them high tops. I will add a picture of them later. After we bought them I would not let her wear them until we got home in case Mommy did not approve. We stopped at another store for me to try on some shoes and while I was trying on shoes she got the box out of the bag and had her other shoes off. I think maybe she likes them.

Last night was Small Group night so Karisse was very excited because her best friend Finley came over to share a baby sitter and play. If we ask Karisse who her best friend is she says Ninney. (That is how she says Finley.) It is so cute. Anytime we tell her she is going to get to see Finley she starts chanting her name. They love each other!
